The editor is a graduate from Agra University and has completed diploma in Labour Welfare and Law Degree from Bombay University and has worked as a Labour Officer Personnel Officer and Personnel Manager for about 12 years in various leading establishments / companies including The Times of India, Bombay and M/s. Gaumont Kalee (I) Ltd. (a company within Rank Organisation UK)and thereafter has practiced Labour Laws for about 35 years in Labour Court, Industrial Tribunal, High Court and Supreme Court of India and some of the judgements where he has appeared were landmark judgements till today. Regarding the applicability of Industrial Employment Standing Order as per S. 38B of The Bombay Shops & Establishments Act, 1948, the State had to amend the said Section as a result of judgement of Division Bench of Bombay High Court in which his contention was upheld by the bench that the Model Standing Order is applicable to less than 50 workmen employed in an establishment. Hence he is in Labour field for more than 50 years.

He is a member of Supreme Court Bar Association, New Delhi and is also committee member of All India Organization of Employers, Federation House, New Delhi.

He has conducted many seminars and workshops and has presented papers on Labour Laws. He had also made six video cassettes on Labour Laws in the year 1984. He is also author of the following books.
